Applying for this Visa

If the sponsor and visitor are eligible, willing and able to meet their obligations under this visa, they can commence the two-step application process.

Note: Important information relating to the 679 application cut-off dates for the Christmas/New Year period is available.

Step 1 – Visitor completes application form

The visitor completes and signs the visa application form and sends it to the sponsor in Australia, with all supporting documentation.

Step 2 – Sponsor completes sponsorship form and lodges application

The sponsor completes the sponsorship form. The sponsor then submits all application forms, sponsorship form, supporting documentation and a non-refundable visa application charge (fee) on behalf of the visitor.
