Obligations

When you are granted a visa you must meet the following obligations.

Applicant's obligations

You can work in Australia, but you:

You must continue to be a person who would satisfy the primary criteria for the grant of the visa.

Change in circumstances

You must also notify this department of any change in your circumstances that may breach your visa conditions. For example, if you stop working for your employer.

Employer obligations

Your employer must employ you in accordance with the standards for wages and working conditions under relevant Australian law.

DFAT requires your employer to take responsibility for ensuring your departure from Australia, including the costs of travel, on the completion of your employment.
