About this Visa
This visa allows the temporary stay of domestic workers who intend to be employed full time and exclusively in the household of a Diplomatic visa (subclass 995) holder who is an accredited diplomat or consular officer in Australia.
Who is this visa for?
You may consider applying for this visa, if you:
- are 18 years or older
- intend to be employed as a domestic worker in the household of an eligible holder of a Diplomatic visa (subclass 995) in Australia.
Note: The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) will not support your application if you are related to your prospective employer.
How much will this visa cost?
You must pay a non-refundable visa application charge when you lodge your visa application.

With this visa you can:
- undertake domestic duties in the household of an eligible Diplomatic visa (subclass 995) holder
- stay in Australia for as long as your visa is valid.
