This visa allows entertainment personnel to travel and work in Australia in the entertainment industry.
Sponsorship
You must be sponsored unless you are entering Australia under a country to country agreement
The sponsorship application and visa application must be lodged together. You should send your completed visa application to your sponsor who will lodge both applications with the department.
Work rights
While you are in Australia you can work only in the position nominated in your visa application.
Film and television productions
If you are in a film or television production, you will require a certificate from DEWHA. Your application must be supported by the Arts Minister confirming that relevant Australian content criteria have been met. All enquiries must be directed to the desk officer in DEWHA.

Bringing family
The following people may be included in your application:
- your spouse
- your or your spouse's dependent children
- other dependent relatives.

If you are planning to have members of your family live with you in Australia, you must provide birth and marriage certificates.
Visa validity period
The length of this visa varies depending on the duration of your involvement in the entertainment industry in Australia.
Extending your stay
If while in Australia you decide to apply for a further visa to extend your stay, you will need to complete a new visa application and attach appropriate evidence to support the purpose of your stay.
If sponsorship is required, the sponsor will need to lodge a new sponsorship application.
The sponsorship and visa applications should be lodged well in advance of the expiry date of your current visa.
