About this Visa
This visa allows the entry to Australia of representatives of:
- foreign government agencies who do not have official status in Australia
- certain foreign language teachers who are to be employed in Australia by their government or government agency
Who is this visa for?
This visa is designed for people who:
- intend to be employed as a representative of a foreign government agency in Australia and who will not be given official status in Australia by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)
- intend to be employed in Australia by a foreign government as a language teacher in an Australian school
- are seeking to enter Australia under an agreement between Australia and another country.
How much will this visa cost?
You must pay a visa application charge when you lodge your visa application.

With this visa you can:
- stay in Australia for an approved period of time (up to 4 years)
- work for a specific organisation/school in Australia
- bring eligible family members with you.
