Have you been invited to perform at, compete in, speak at or attend such an event in Australia?

Do you know that everyone planning to visit Australia must obtain a visa before travelling?

If you answered yes to any of the above, the International Event Coordinator Network (IECN) is here to offer assistance and advice.

The IECN is a group of skilled immigration staff who liaise with event organisers to provide advice and facilitate visa application processing of visitors wishing to participate in events in Australia.

Some of the types of events the IECN can offer assistance with include:

How can the IECN assist event organisers?

If you are an event organiser, you are encouraged to contact the IECN as early as possible to ensure problem-free visa arrangements for your participants. To make it easy for you, the IECN has prepared an Information Kit which is available from the IECN National Coordinator.

How can the IECN assist intending participants?

Depending on your current country of passport, you are encouraged to apply for the appropriate visa 4-6 weeks before departure for Australia. Your passport must be valid for travel and the period of your intended stay.
