Agents Outside Australia

Migration agents who operate outside Australia do not have to be registered. The department may give some overseas agents an identification (ID) number. This number does not mean they are registered.

Registered agents operating outside Australia

Some migration agents registered with the Office of the MARA operate overseas. You can search for a registered agent overseas on the Office of the MARA website. Go to 'Find an Agent' and Search By Location Details: 'Country'.

If an agent registered with the Office of the MARA is not available, consider using an agent that is accredited in your country.
