The Skill Matching Database is no longer accepting new applicants.

However, applicants who are currently registered on the database can still update their information. Employers and state and territory governments can continue to access the database to source skilled migrants.

Departmental offices in Australian capital cities and Cairns, state/territory governments and some Regional Certifying Bodies are part of the Skill Matching Network.

Regional Certifying Bodies operate Australia wide and are a good contact point for regional employers wanting to sponsor skilled migrants under the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme. They can help employers obtain the resumes and contact details of people registered on the Skill Matching Database and provide general advice on sponsorship and nominations.
