Skills Australia Needs Information and Networking Sessions – London, United Kingdom
25 - 27 February 2012
The department will host a Skills Australia Needs event in London on 25-27 February 2012 to promote employer and state sponsored skilled migration to potential skilled migrants residing in the United Kingdom.
The event will be held across three days as follows:
- Engineering and trades – weekend sessions – 25-26 February 2012
- Healthcare – evening session – 27 February 2012.
The targeted occupations are engineering and healthcare and automotive, construction, electrical and mechanical trades.
The event will provide an opportunity for invited skilled workers in occupations in demand to hear from the department about skilled visa options for Australia. Invitees will then have an opportunity to meet and speak with participating Australian state and territory governments and employers about employment and sponsorship opportunities.

You may be invited to attend the information sessions if you are a skilled worker who:
- is under 50 years of age
- has good English language skills (both written and verbal)
- is interested in living and working in Australia
