Skills Australia Needs Events
Skills Australia Needs events are designed to help address current skill shortages in Australia by promoting skilled migration options. Australian employers and state and territory governments can participate in the events and meet people with the skills and experience needed to fill job vacancies in Australia which cannot be filled through the local labour market.
Upcoming Events
Online registrations are now open for skilled workers interested in attending the following:
- Skilled migration information seminars in Dubai on 17-18 February 2012
- Skills Australia Needs event in London on 25-27 February 2012.
The department will also be participating in the State Migration Open Day in Manchester, 29 February 2012. This open day will be hosted by the South Australian, Victorian and Western Australian state governments.

The department has previously hosted a number of successful events.
