About this Visa

This visa allows you to come to Australia to be employed as a full-time domestic worker in the household of certain senior executives who are in charge of an Australian office of an overseas organisation. The executive must hold a Subclass 457 - Business (Long Stay) visa. Independent Executive Further Application Onshore (Subclass 457IEFAO) visa holders are not eligible to sponsor a domestic worker.

Who is this visa for?

This visa is for experienced domestic workers (who are at least 18 years old) from overseas who are to be employed in Australia by an overseas executive working in Australia and who is the holder of a Subclass 457 - Business (Long Stay) visa. You must be sponsored and nominated by the executive for this visa.

How much will this visa cost?

You must pay a non-refundable visa application charge when you lodge your visa application.

What does this visa let me do?

With this visa you can:

• come to Australia to perform domestic work in the household of an executive who is the holder of a Subclass 457 - Business (Long Stay) visa
• bring eligible secondary applicants with you to Australia
• stay in Australia for an approved period of time (up to two years).
