Changes to Location of Visa Processing
On 1 July 2008, the department will change the location of visa processing arrangements for the following visa subclasses. These changes are designed to improve client service through the reduction in processing times and to create centres of staff expertise.
- Temporary Business (Long Stay) (subclass 457)
- Medical Practitioner (subclass 422)
- Sponsored Business Visitor (Short Stay) (subclass 459)
- Occupational Trainee (subclass 442)
- Aged Parent (Permanent) (subclass 804)
- Contributory Aged Parent (Migrant) (subclass 864)
- Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary) (subclass 884)
