Preparing your Visa Application

Application charge

There is a non-refundable charge for applications.
See: Fees & Charges

Note: Once your application has been successfully submitted, you will not be able to receive a refund of the application charge. However, if you lodge the sponsorship, nomination, and visa applications at the same time and the sponsorship application is refused, the department will refund the charge for the nomination and visa application because, without an approved business sponsor, the application will be invalid.

Other costs for visa applicants

In addition to the application charge you will need to pay for any medical examinations.

There may also be other costs associated with the application such as translating documents into English.

Application checklist

The checklist details the information and supporting documents that you must provide with your application. Complete applications are likely to be processed more quickly. Incomplete applications may be delayed or, in some cases, refused.
