Step 2 - Employer Nominates Temporary Positions


The employer must nominate the temporary positions required under the Labour Agreement.

Nomination charge

There is a non-refundable charge for a nomination under the 457 Temporary Business (Long Stay) visa program, nominations for other visa programs are not subject to a fee.

How to lodge a nomination

You can lodge online, in person, by post or by courier.

Note: Online applications relate to the Temporary Business (Long Stay) Subclass 457 visa program only and are given priority.

The nomination and visa application can be lodged at the same time or separately.
Note: The visa application should not be lodged before the nomination.
