Applying for this Visa

If the sponsor is willing and able to meet their obligations, then the sponsor can commence the two-step application process for the dependant family member of Subclass 422 – Medical Practitioner visa holder.

Step 1 - Organisation applies to be a sponsor

The sponsoring organisation must lodge a sponsorship application.

A separate sponsorship application must be lodged for each position to be filled.

Step 2 - Dependant family member applies to be added to the primary applicants visa

Holders of primary Subclass 422 – Medical Practitioner (Temporary) visas will still the ability to add dependant family members to their application.
