What you need to apply for this visa

At the time you apply for this visa, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• you are under 45 years of age
• you have paid the correct visa application fee
• you have lodged your application with the Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre (ASPC)
• you have an eligible relative sponsor living in a designated area of Australia or a nomination from a State/ Territory government
• you meet the English language threshold
• you have a positive skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority for your nominated occupation
• you have met the recent work experience or Australian study requirement in the six (6) months before lodging your application.

You must make sure that you can meet these requirements at the time you lodge your application. If your application does not meet the minimum requirements, either:

• you will not be considered as having made an application, which means your papers and any monies paid will be returned to you
  or
• your application will be refused.
