Recent Skilled Employment Experience – Eligibility

You need to meet the recent the recent Skilled Employment requirement or Australian Study Requirement.

If your nominated occupation is not on the Specified Trade Occupations list, you must provide evidence that you have been in paid employment in any skilled occupation on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) for at least 12 months in the 24 months immediately before applying.

If your nominated occupation is an occupation listed on the Specified Trade Occupations list you must provide evidence that you have been in paid employment in that skilled occupation for at least 12 months in the 24 months immediately before applying.
