Family Member Obligations

Family members of a sponsored business visitor must comply with the following requirements while in Australia on this visa.

Visa conditions

Family members are not able to:

• work in Australia
• remain in Australia beyond the expiry date of their visa
• undertake formal study or training in Australia that leads to a primary, secondary or higher education qualification.
  Note: Subclass 459 visa holders are no longer required to pass a chest x-ray examination even if they intend to study in a classroom environment for a period greater than four weeks.

This visa may be granted with a No Further Stay condition. This means family members will not be granted any other visa to extend their visit while they are in Australia.
