How this Visa Works


If you are a Temporary Business (Long Stay) Independent Executive visa (Subclass 457IE) holder in Australia and are facing expiry of your visa, this visa allows you more time to become eligible to apply for the following permanent residence visas:

  • Established Business in Australia visa
  • Regional Established Business in Australia visa
  • State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner (residence) visa.

Visa validity period

This visa is valid for two years.

Bringing family

The following people may be included in your application:

  • your partner
  • your or your partner's dependent children
  • other dependent relatives living with you.

With this visa you are unable to access Medicare, the Australian Government medical expenses and hospital care scheme.
