Paper application requirements

Paper applications must be made on form 1273 and lodged at the Brisbane Global Processing Centre in Australia by post or courier.

Note: Australian Visa Offices outside Australia cannot accept Maritime Crew visa applications.

Where a paper application is submitted by an agent on behalf of an applicant, Form 956 Appointment of a migration agent or exempt agent or other authorised recipient will also be required to be completed by the applicant if the applicant wishes the agent or some other person to be their authorised recipient. An authorised recipient is someone you appoint to receive written communications about your application with the department.
