How to create a settlement report

Complete the following six step procedure to create a settlement report in the Settlement Reporting Facility.

Step Action

Click the Start button.
Result: The Choose your report window displays.

Select the type of report you'd like to produce.
Hint: Click the Learn more button to find out about the different report types.
Result: Four more questions display.

Select the report criteria from the Please make a selection drop-down list(s).

Do you want to focus your report on specific geographic, demographic and visa related information? If:

  • yes, then choose the report filters you'd like to add, complete the date type and date range fields and click the Next button. Go to step 5.
  • no, then complete the date type and date range fields and click the Next button. Go to step 6.

Choose an extra filter(s) by clicking on the word(s) in the boxes and click the Next button.

Review all the information you have selected. If the information is:

  • correct, then
    • select the sort order you want for the report,
    • select the amount of data required,
    • if you are accessing the Settlement Reporting Facility over the internet, then enter the six letter code into the field directly above the Submit report button, and
    • click the Submit report button.
      Result: The My Reports screen displays.
  • incorrect, make changes by clicking the Change report options or Edit your selected filters buttons and repeat steps 2-5.

How to view, print, export and save a settlement report

Complete the following six step procedure to view, print, export and save a settlement report in the Settlement Reporting Facility.

Click the View button on the Your Reports screen to view your report.
Result: The report displays in a new window.
Note: If you have just created a report, then it might take a minute or two for the report to compile. You will know when the report is ready when the status changes to Completed.

What do you want do with the report? If you want to:

  • print the report, then go to step 3.
  • export and/or save the report to a different file format, then go to step 4.

  • Click the Print icon Print icon (the 2nd icon) on the toolbar.
    Result: The Print to PDF dialogue box opens.
  • Select the page range you want to print and click the Export button.

End of procedure

Click the Export icon Export icon (the 1st icon) on the toolbar.
Result: The Export dialogue box opens.

Go to step 5.

In the Export dialogue box:

  • select the format you want from the File Format drop-down list.
  • select the required page range, and
    click the Export button

Result: The File Download dialogue box displays.

Click the:

  • Open button if you want to view the report in the selected file format.
  • Save button if you want to save the selected file format.

View reports in different file formats
