Document Requirements
On arrival in Australia, all passengers and crew arriving by sea must have both a valid passport and a valid visa or entry authority to satisfy a clearance officer for immigration clearance.
The master of the vessel is expected to ensure that all persons onboard have
correct travel documentation, are the rightful holders of that documentation
and that the documentation is valid. Passengers are also required to complete
an Incoming Passenger Card.

Ships' crew are not required to complete an Incoming Passenger Card (IPC), but crew members who are New Zealand Citizens and hold a Special Category Visa will have to complete an IPC.

- Foreign Crew (Non-Military Ships)
- Military Crew
Penalties may apply if passengers/crew arrive without the required documentation.
