Applicant (Child)

A complete application must be lodged for the applicant, including all application forms, supporting documentation and application charges. If the application meets all visa criteria, the applicant may be granted this visa. The child's parent will usually lodge the application on behalf of the child. Note: After being granted this visa, a separate application must be lodged for the child for the same permanent visa as their parent. This application must be lodged before a decision is made on the parent's permanent visa application. |
Visa validity period
This visa is valid until a decision is made on the parent's permanent Spouse or Interdependency visa application, or until the parent's visa application is withdrawn.
