Statistics on the migration advice industry, including the number of agents registered and the percentage of visa applications lodged by agents. A more detailed breakdown of visa applications lodged by agents and historical statistics on the number of agents registered is available in the Migration Agent Activity Report.

Activity Report

The Migration Agent Activity Report provides a summary of relevant factors relating to the migration advice industry in Australia. The report includes an analysis of the number of registered migration agents and the visa applications lodged by them, complaints and sanction decisions processed by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA), appeals to the AAT and litigation, and investigations by the department. The data comes primarily from departmental systems and the Office of the MARA.
