Country Guidance Notes

The Guidance Notes have been developed to assist refugee case officers to:

• locate and synthesise country of origin information relevant to assessing claims presented by asylum seekers to Australia
• identify relevant issues for consideration
• conduct robust and transparent analysis of claims.
