Department Takes Services to New England and Mid-North Coast Regions

Representatives of the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) will be visiting the New England and mid-North Coast regions in the week commencing Monday 14 October 2002 as part of a strategy and ongoing commitment to provide immigration services in regional and rural communities.
Departmental representatives will meet with individual clients who wish to discuss immigration matters in Gunnedah on 14 October, Tamworth on 15 October, Armidale on 16 October, Port Macquarie on 17 October and Taree on 18 October.
The regional and rural service strategy aims to take a range of DIMIA services, including information dissemination and client interviews, to regions throughout New South Wales on a regular, ongoing basis.
