Department Takes Services to the Central West

Representatives of the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA) will visit communities in the Central West of New South Wales this week as part of a strategy and ongoing commitment to provide services to regional and rural areas.
Departmental representatives will meet with individual clients in Lithgow, Cowra, Forbes, Parkes, Dubbo, Orange and Bathurst between Tuesday 13 and Friday 16 August.
Meetings will also take place with Members of Parliament and their staff.
The regional and rural service strategy aims to take a range of DIMIA services, including information dissemination and client interviews, to regions throughout New South Wales on a regular, ongoing basis.
