Department Takes Services to the Central West

Representatives of the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA) will be visiting communities in the Central West Region of New South Wales this week, from Tuesday 24 to Friday 27 August.
The visit is part of DIMA's regional and rural service strategy, which aims to take a range of immigration services, including information dissemination and client interviews, to regions throughout New South Wales on a regular basis.
Departmental representatives will meet with individual clients, community agencies, service providers and key stakeholders as well as business groups in Bathurst, Mudgee, Wellington, Dubbo, Coonamble and Lightning Ridge.
Meetings will also take place with Members of Parliament and their staff, and with local government representatives in the region to discuss local issues and Departmental services.
