Visa already granted

Dear Sir/Madam
At the time you ran your story on US Marine Mike Staib (Migration delays just not cricket, 18/2/2004) his visa had already been granted.
Mr Staib's application for a Spouse visa was processed within the normal service standards for this type of visa.
The Department welcomes Mr Staib to Australia and wishes his family happiness in their new life here.
