Help for proposers
If you are a person or organisation that has proposed someone under subclass 202, there are services available to help you. After the person or persons you have proposed have arrived in Australia, an Integrated Humanitarian Settlement Strategy (IHSS) service provider will contact you. An IHSS case manager will arrange a time to meet you and your new arrival.
As a proposer you have responsibilities. Your case manager can provide you with guidance and may be able to assist your new arrival with things that you are not able to provide.
