Support & assistance for Refugees and Other Humanitarian Entrants
The Australian Government is committed to ensuring that people settling in Australia under the Humanitarian Program have the initial support and assistance to successfully rebuild their lives.
The Integrated Humanitarian Settlement Strategy (IHSS) provides intensive settlement support designed to meet the initial needs of humanitarian entrants. There are also services targeted at migrants in general and the wider Australian community.
