Client Satisfaction Report
The surveys
The department conducted surveys of AMEP clients in 2000 and in 2005-06. The objective of the surveys was to determine the extent to which the program was meeting the needs of clients. A report was published following each survey.
Participants
The most recent survey involved 2956 people who participated in the AMEP between 1 January 2005 and 30 June 2006. The survey was conducted by telephone in 16 community languages. The report was published in 2007.
Results
The results of the survey indicated 79 per cent of respondents had been offered English classes suitable to their needs and English level and 84 per cent were happy with their AMEP English classes overall.
