Funding Cycle
Settlement Grants Program (SGP) funding follows a cycle over the life of a grant as shown in the following table.

- Annual assessment of settlement needs information relevant to the SGP released

- Application Round open
- Organisations complete the security form available online before commencing application online

- Minister's announcement of successful applications after Commonwealth Budget is handed down

- Organisations are notified by mail of the assessment outcomes
- Successful organisations negotiate and sign Funding Agreements

- Reporting requirements for grant are required

- Progress reports and audited Financial Statements submitted to the department
