Funding Agreement

Successful Settlement Grants Programme (SGP) applicants are required to enter into a Funding Agreement with the department.

What is a Funding Agreement?

The Funding Agreement is a legal document that outlines the terms, conditions and obligations of funding, service delivery, accountability for both the department and the funded agency. A sample Funding Agreement is provided below.

Authorised Representative

Each funded organisation nominates at least one person, usually a Chairperson or equivalent, who signs the Funding Agreement on behalf of the organisation.

Approved Budget

The amount of SGP funding offered may be less than the amount requested in an application. In such cases, organisations will be asked to revise their Work Programme and budget in line with the funding offered. The approved revisions are attached to the Funding Agreement as Schedules.
