OSCAR
On this page
Funded organisations are required to report on client activity using the Online Settlement Client Activity Reports (OSCAR).
What is OSCAR?
OSCAR is an online statistical collection tool. SGP and CSSS funded organisations are required to record information about their direct client contacts using OSCAR. For the first time, information on client contacts with funded organisations will be available on a consistent and national basis.
Reporting Timeframes
Funded organisations are required to submit their individual client contact data within 10 working days after the end of each reporting period. Organisations can choose to enter data either at each individual contact, daily or weekly.
OSCAR Reports
A funded organisations' access to OSCAR will be limited to the ability to enter, retrieve and edit only their own client contact information. Funded organisations can view reports of the data they have entered. State/Territory and nation wide reports are also available.
Use of the Information from OSCAR
The information from OSCAR will be used to identify the number and demographics of clients who receive SGP funded services and the type of services they access. The information provided from OSCAR will contribute to:
- needs based planning
- responses to Parliamentary, media and public inquiries
- alignment of statistical information with each organisation's Work Program.
