The Moreland Interfaith Gathering was developed to address the Council's objective 'to foster community understanding and respect for ethnic, religious, demographic and cultural diversity'. It promotes and advocates for multicultural development and enhancement of harmony, respect and understanding within the diverse community of Moreland.
Representatives from Islamic, Baha'i, Sikh, Buddhist, Greek Orthodox, Indian Orthodox, Serbian Orthodox, Catholic, Anglican, Uniting Church and other religions participate in the Gathering, facilitating the development of closer community relations.
