The Great Southern Multicultural Festival is held every year around Harmony Day in Katanning, one of the most culturally diverse towns in Western Australia. The festival is a celebration of the success of this multicultural community, which has demonstrated its ability to maintain the values of tolerance, respect and togetherness. The event is held in the centre of town and is free to the public. It showcases the diverse cultures represented in the community through music, dance, food, art, workshops, children's activities, competitions and more.
