Client summary

From 1 September 2007, the Gazette Notice made under section 4 of the Immigration (Education) Act 1971 is amended to allow holders of a Subclass 475 (Skilled - Regional Sponsored) (Class VF) or Subclass 487 (Skilled - Regional Sponsored)(Class VC) visa access to the Adult Migrant English Programme.

From 1 September 2007, the Immigration (Education) Regulations 1992 ('the Regulations') are amended to waive the annual Administration fee for prescribed English language courses for holders of a Subclass 475 (Skilled - Regional Sponsored)(Class VF) or Subclass 487 (Skilled - Regional Sponsored)(Class VC) visa provided that they have paid the second visa application charge.
