From 26 July 2005, the Migration Regulations 1994 will be amended to provide that persons seeking:
- a declaration from a court that the Migration Act 1958 does not apply to the person; or
- merits or judicial review of a decision made pursuant to the Australian Citizenship Act 1948;

- Subclause 050.212(1) amended.
- New subclause 050.212(4AAA) inserted after subclause 050.212(4).
- New subclause 050.212(4AB) inserted after subclause 050.212(4AA).
- Subclause 050.212(4A) amended.
- Subclause 050.222(1) amended.
- Subclause 050.222(3), note amended.
- Paragraph 050.511A(b) amended.
- New clauses 050.511B, 050.511C, 050.511D and 050.511E inserted after clause 050.511A.
- New clause 050.612B inserted after clause 050.612A.
