Online Health (eHealth)
Online Health, or eHealth, is a system that facilitates online health processing for eVisa applicants.
Traditionally visa applicants completed paper medical examination forms. A panel doctor would then use these forms to record their medical examination results and the forms would be posted to a departmental office for processing.
With eHealth the visa applicant completes their health declaration online and the clinic completes the health examination (including uploading a digital photograph and chest x-ray) online.
Once the panel doctor submits this information it is transferred instantly to the Health Operations Centre (HOC) in Sydney, Australia, for processing.
