The Education Agent Training Course (EATC)
The Education Agent Training Course (EATC) is an on-line training program developed in co-operation with the department and DEEWR by International Education Services Ltd. The EATC seeks to provide individuals working as education agents or recruiters for Australian educational institutions with the information and skills needed to counsel potential students about Australia as a study destination, education quality assurance issues and the Australian student visa program. It clearly delineates the allowable activities of Registered Australian Migration Agents and others whose activities are principally in regard to selecting appropriate educational opportunities in Australia.
The EATC will be useful to Migration Agents who seek to improve their understanding of the education environment and who wish to keep abreast of changes and developments in international education services.
The course can be accessed, at no charge, on the Professional International Education Resources (PIER) website. There is a $400 fee for formal assessment leading to an accredited Statement of Attainment.
