Time Limited Health Clearances
From 1 July 2010, time limited health clearances ('Meets with conditions –time limited stay' or serial 95 clearance) will no longer be provided.
Clients will have their health assessed against the maximum period of stay allowed for the visa subclass they have applied for.
If the client does not meet the health requirement for that period of stay, they will receive a 'does not meet' opinion.
A client may then choose to amend their period of stay and be re-assessed against this shorter period.
Clients who are assessed against the health requirement before lodging a visa application must provide the visa subclass which they want to apply for, to the examining doctor.
