Note: As a registered migration agent, you must maintain a sound knowledge of migration law and procedure. You should consult the department's website, your colleagues or your professional library to answer basic queries.  Otherwise, your action may be referred to the MARA for possible sanction.

This facility is only available to registered migration agents who have specific policy-related enquiries. Only genuine complex policy or procedural questions will be considered.

As you will be aware, all registered migration agents are bound by the Office of the MARA Code of Conduct (the Code). Registered migration agents are expected to maintain a sound knowledge of migration law and procedure in accordance with clause 2.5 of the Code, and to maintain a professional library that includes current versions of migration law and policy documents.

Enquiries that relate to information available on the departmental website, through Legend, PAM or other available resources will not be responded to. This includes all post lodgement enquires. We are not able to provide pre-assessment of matters that would ordinarily be determined by a decision maker.
