Industry Outreach Officers
The department is working in partnership with industry to help employers better understand how to use immigration's services to address skilled labour shortages. Industry Outreach Officers currently work with 19 industry groups, on full time and part time placements.
Reaching out to industry
The Industry Outreach initiative reaches across Australia, with Industry Outreach Officers located in:
- Perth
- Adelaide
- Canberra
- Melbourne
- Darwin
- Sydney
- Brisbane.
The Industry Outreach Officers give expert support to employers who want to employ skilled overseas workers. They provide information about visa options, immigration mechanisms and e-lodgement.
