This information is for German citizens checking the progress of their online visa application.

German applicants may experience issues checking the progress of their online application through the department's query application status facility. To access this facility, you must enter the 10 digit number shown in the machine readable zone on the bottom left hand side of the personal information page of your passport. This facility will not accept nine digit passport numbers.
