Some clients are currently experiencing a page navigation error when completing the first page of their eVisa application. In some instances this may be due to clients using Internet Explorer version 8.

We recommend using Internet Explorer version 6 or below. Additional information on supported browsers is available.

Citizenship test

If you apply for citizenship under the general eligibility criteria, you must have passed the citizenship test before you lodge your application. If you have not passed the citizenship test before you lodge your application, your application is likely to be refused and you may not be entitled to any refund of your application fee.

About online applications

To apply online, your browser must support 128 bit encryption. You can check your browser if you experience problems connecting to these services.

Do not apply online if:

  • you are entitled to a concession or exemption from the fee
  • you do not meet the eligibility requirements.

If your application is refused on any requirement, you will not receive a refund.
