Lodging a visa application
Through the Philippines Interactive Audiotext Service Inc (PIASI)
The department has a Service Delivery Partner arrangement with PIASI to provide Australian visa lodgement services. PIASI operates a Call Center for telephone enquiries and booking appointments and the Visa Information and Application (VIA) Center which provides visa information and accepts applications for Australian visas.
PIASI charges applicants a service fee in addition to any visa application charges.
No prior appointments are needed to attend the VIA Center. Posted visa applications cannot be accepted at the VIA Center. Lodgement of applications by courier, however, is available through PIASI’s Call Center.

By post to the Australian Embassy
Applications can be lodged by post direct to the Embassy, however, it is not recommended that clients forward personal documents, passports and payment through the post as safe delivery cannot be guaranteed.
At the Australian Embassy in person
If you wish to lodge an application in person you will need to make an appointment through the PIASI Call Center.

Please note that due to the high demand for appointments it may be a few weeks before an appointment can be scheduled. You can lodge your application at the VIA Center, however, at any time during business hours without an appointment.
Permanent Entry Visas
Permanent entry visa applications from the Philippines, can be lodged through the PIASI VIA Center as per above.
General skilled migration applications are lodged and processed at the Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre.

Temporary Entry Visas
Temporary entry visa applications from the Philippines, can be lodged through the PIASI VIA Center as per above.
416 Special Program applications are lodged and processed at the Hobart Special Program Processing Centre.

420 Entertainment sponsorship and visa applications are lodged and processed at the Sydney Entertainment Processing Centre.

679 Sponsored Family Visitor visa applications are lodged by the sponsor at a State or Territory office within Australia.
If you are sponsored by an Australian employer for a Subclass 457 Business (Long Stay) visa, you may lodge your visa application online or at an Australia office of the department. If you are sponsored by an overseas business, you can lodge your visa application with the Australia Immigration Office responsible for applications in your country.
