Netherlands Antilles – now the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Caribbean

There is no Australian diplomatic mission in Netherlands Antilles which is now known as the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Caribbean.

Islands which once constituted this Netherlands Antilles (now dissolved) are now either special municipalities of the Netherlands proper or constituent countries within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Islands of Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius are special municipalities. Islands of Aruba, Curacao and Sint Maarten (Saint Martin) are constituent countries of the Netherlands.

Nigeria

The Australian High Commission in Nigeria has no visa or citizenship functions. The department has a Service Delivery Partner (SDP) agreement with VFS Global (VFS) to provide Australian visa lodgement services in Nigeria through Australian Visa Application Centres (AVACs).

All applications from Nigeria are processed in South Africa. The AVAC will receive applications and deliver them to the Australian Embassy in South Africa for processing.

Niue

There is no Australian diplomatic mission in Niue.

Norfolk Island

Special Procedures
The Migration Act 1958 does not apply on NI which has its own migration regime.

Special procedures apply for permanent residents of Norfolk Island who are not Australian citizens and who are travelling to Australia; subject to certain criteria they may be eligible for a Permanent Resident Norfolk Island Visa (PRNIV) on arrival in Australia.
