Permanent Entry visas

Permanent entry visa applications (except general skilled, business skills, parent subclasses) from Italy, including San Marino and Vatican City, are lodged, processed and decided at the Australian Embassy, Berlin, Germany.

Temporary Entry visas

Citizens of Italy, San Marino and the Vatican City who are travelling to Australia for up to three (3) months for tourism or business purposes are eligible to apply online for eVisitors. Citizens from these countries are also able to apply for an ETA through travel agents and airlines.

Passport holders from Italy, Vatican City and San Marino who want to visit Australia for more than three (3) months are eligible to apply online for a Tourist visa (e676).

If you are sponsored by an overseas business, you can lodge your visa application with the Australia Immigration Office responsible for applications in your country.

If you are sponsored by an Australian employer, you must lodge your visa application at the same office in Australia where your employer lodged papers to support your application. Please ask your employer where they lodged these papers.
