Permanent Entry visas

Family Migration visa applications from Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangxi and Hainan Provinces are lodged, processed and decided at the Australian Consulate General Visa Office in Guangzhou.

Temporary Entry visas

Tourist visas from the following provinces are lodged, processed and decided by the Guangzhou Visa Office: Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hainan.

Business short stay (subclass 456) applications from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi and Hubei provinces are lodged, processed and decided at the Australian Consulate General Visa Office in Shanghai.

Applications from Beijing, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Tianjin, Shandong, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Henan, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang and Tibet are lodged, processed and decided in Beijing.

Citizenship

Applications for Citizenship by Descent from clients in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi and Hubei provinces are lodged, processed and decided at the Australian Consulate General Visa Office in Shanghai.

All applications for Australian citizenship general eligibility and other situations, and applications to resume or renounce (give up) Australian citizenship should be lodged at the Melbourne CBD Office.
